We are looking for our next District Shift Leader. If you are ready to rise like one of our bagels and grow your career, this role will give you the opportunity to develop into a General Manager.

District Shift Leaders perform management duties at a home location and support other bakeries in the market as needed. Their shifts start as early as 3 a.m. for the first bake and store opening. They lead by example, serve as brand ambassadors, and provide ongoing coaching and training for the teams. They rotate roles each shift to ensure high‑quality food, beverages, and a safe, clean store environment.

• Lead and support day‑to‑day operations at the assigned bakery.
• Provide coaching and training to staff.
• Perform inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management.
• Assist in P&L analysis, food‑cost and labor target achievement.
• Schedule and recruit quality team members.
• Travel to other bakeries in the market to support and learn.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work varied hours/days, including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3 a.m.).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
• Must complete the Bagel Brands Serv Safe Certification program by the end of the GM development plan, unless already in possession.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical demands:
The role involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during working hours.
