We are seeking a Plumbing Designer to join our engineering team. This role is responsible for designing plumbing systems for a variety of industrial, commercial, and healthcare facilities using AutoCAD and Revit
. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to develop accurate construction documents and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
This is a permanent, direct-hire position.
Responsibilities:- Design plumbing and piping systems for industrial, commercial, and healthcare projects.
- Develop detailed drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit
. - Perform plumbing system layouts, equipment sizing, and coordination with other building systems.
- Ensure designs comply with local, state, and national codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Review project specifications and incorporate design requirements into plans.
- Experience designing plumbing systems for industrial, commercial, or healthcare facilities.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
. - Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting, Design, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with healthcare facility design.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project environments.
