Parks & Recreation Director

Overview

Sumter Local Government Consulting is recruiting for the City of Tucker, GA to serve as Parks and Recreation Director. The City of Tucker is a vibrant, civically engaged community in metro Atlanta, known for responsive government and community partnership.

The Parks and Recreation Director will lead the department’s strategic vision, operational management, and community engagement. The Director will oversee a workforce of approximately 18 full‑time staff, 12 part‑time staff, and nearly 90 seasonal staff, and will collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team.

The hiring range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000.
