* Job Responsibilities:

*
* + Oversee daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.

+ Achieve business goals and revenue targets.

+ Recruit and train team members, support the general manager as well as conduct performance appraisals.

+ Provide coaching and mentoring to supervisory staff.

+ Manage internal and external stakeholder relations.

+ Ensure company standards and procedures are followed

+ Plan, evaluate, and optimize operations to be efficient and cost-effective.

+ Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary.

+ Resolve any client related matters or customer complaints appropriately.

+ Ensure productivity, efficiency and inventory levels are properly maintained.

+ Complete regular and timely financial analyses for all department-related positions

+ Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual statements, analyses, and reports on operations and finances.

+ Report on any performance, compliance or staffing related issues and work with the appropriate departments toward resolution.

+ Perform operational duties such as payroll and monthly schedules.

+ Manage costs effectively by minimizing employee turnover and controlling overtime costs.

+ Prepare specimens when needed.

+ Travel to additional sites as necessary

+ Overall accountability for facilities management, logistics, supplies and accessioning.  Play an integral role in the development and execution of the region's growth strategy

+ Develop, oversee and provide support to a team of managers across all functional areas

+ Develop a positive work environment and drive employee engagement to improve performance and reduce employee turnover

+ Continuously monitor the productivity of the operations team to ensure optimization

+ Monitor the overtime & agency spend and overall budget on a regular basis

+ Work cross functionally within the division to create efficiencies and improve production

** Minimum Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or equivalent required  
+ 6 years' or more of experience managing several direct reports

** Preferred

Qualification:

* + Associate's degree

+ Current or prior Labcorp experience

+ 10 years' or more of experience managing several direct reports

** Additional Job Standards*
* + Minimum of 6 years or relevant job experience

+ Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and mentor a team

+ Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers

+ Ability to problem solve and provide solutions under minimal supervision

+ Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

+ High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills

+ Comfortable making decisions in a changing environment

+ Valid driver's license and good driving record

+ Proficient with MS Office programs

+ Ability to travel as required
