Position Overview

This role will involve operating production equipment, troubleshooting machinery failures, performing preventative maintenance, maintaining a safe work environment, and ensuring the safety, legality, and quality of all products.

• SCALER/DIVIDER OPERATOR responsibilities:
  • Checks production work schedules for job assignment and work reporting time.
  • Checks and maintains production schedule.
  • Scales ingredients.
  • Loads, operates and unloads mixer(s).
  • Operates dough pump.
  • Checks posted scaling weights and equipment standards.
  • Adjusts and operates one pocket and six pocket dividers.
  • Adjusts and operates rounder.
  • Adjusts and operates overhead proofer.
  • Performs start-up/shut-down sanitation and operator's preventative maintenance.
  • Ensures that work area is clean and organized.
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
• WRAPPING OPERATOR responsibilities:
  • Checks production schedule and verifies product running order.
  • Checks pan count sheet for product quantity.
  • Checks production wrap count sheet for bag types.
  • Sets and operates slicer, bagger, and tier equipment.
  • Performs quality control inspection of finished product.
  • Ensures that product is loaded correctly.
  • Performs start-up/shut-down sanitation and operator's preventative maintenance.
  • Ensures work area is clean and organized.
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
• PALLETIZER responsibilities (also applies to ROLL LINE OPERATOR, BOARD MONITOR, RETARD BOX MONITOR):
  • Checks production schedule and verifies product running order.
  • Checks to ensure that the proper program is running.
  • Checks pallets, slip sheets, etc. for quantity.
  • Performs start-up/shut-down sanitation and operator's preventative maintenance.
  • Ensures work area is clean and organized.
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervision.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, etc.).
• All employees will be responsible and accountable for insuring the quality and safety of every function and all products.

• Two years related bakery or production experience.

• High school diploma or equivalency.

Salary: $27.15 per hour.
