In this role, you'll help identify and implement process improvements on the production floor, turning data and observation into measurable efficiency gains.

- Assist with time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis to identify bottlenecks and process improvement opportunities.
- Support implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, kaizen events, standard work development, and waste reduction projects.
- Collect, analyze, and report production data related to cycle times, scrap rates, equipment performance, and labor efficiency.
- Assist in developing and updating process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for quality and process-related issues.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support engineering trials and process validations.
- Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of fixtures, tools, or process layout changes as assigned.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar) preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
This position splits time between a standard office environment and the manufacturing floor.
