Position Summary
As a Tire & Battery Center Technician you will work to provide safe and efficient service in both the sales and service areas, delivering members more of what they love for less. You will collaborate with other associates to ensure the club meets member expectations.
What You’ll Do- Collaborate with team members to fulfil sales and service requests, educate associates on tools, tasks, resources, mentor new technicians, and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service.
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, product specifications, and seasonality; demonstrate knowledge of point‑of‑sale systems and phone and in‑person selling techniques.
- Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training.
- Communicate equipment, tools and supplies needs to TBC Lead, track and monitor returns and special orders, operate cash registers, process transactions, maintain accurate inventory audit, safety and compliance standards, report complaints, safety hazards, and problems with products, services and work areas, complete paperwork and other required documentation, ensuring merchandise is packaged, labelled and stored in accordance with company policies and procedures, identify member needs, assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns.
- Act as a brand advocate, valuing the member experience in the TBC area, modeling high quality service and products, influencing and inspiring others, and working in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style.
- Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans using the Open Door Policy and apply them in executing business processes.
- Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines and expectations; communicate progress and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to change, learn from feedback and difficulties.

- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period if hired.
- Auto service industry experience.
- Retail experience.

Compensation & BenefitsHourly wage range: $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
