Specialty Car Company is an authorized dealer/distributor for Club Car and Waev/GEM. We are an elite dealership and are searching for an Outside Commercial Salesperson with the drive and desire to research, prospect, and build relationships with new and existing customers in an active territory. Customers include Government, Schools and Universities, Resorts and Hotels...the possibilities are endless!
This is not a retail golf cart sales position.
Our products are work vehicles and transportation solutions that help organizations move people, equipment, and materials more efficiently. Many of our vehicles can be customized to meet specific operational needs, creating unique opportunities to solve customer challenges and build long-term relationships.
The territory is established but largely untapped, creating significant growth potential for the right salesperson.
Relevant experience selling equipment to commercial accounts is ideal. The ideal candidate is familiar with Utility Vehicles, Automotive, RV, Boat or Motorcycle industry is a plus. Any experience prospecting and selling equipment to facilities managers at schools, universities, hospitals, government, etc. is a PERFECT fit!
Responsibilities- Prospecting in the field for new opportunities. Identify prospects, research into accounts and cold call prospects and make a follow up plan. Will be evaluating customer needs and providing solutions, setting up hands on demonstrations with the prospects.
- Call on procurement managers, facilities managers, operations managers, fleet managers, maintenance directors, and business owners
- Use of Salesforce CRM. All account activities updated daily.
- Work closely with the manufacturing representatives for training on new products, account strategies, demonstrations, etc.
- Attend trade shows and training classes as needed.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-directed, and comfortable managing their own territory.
- Previous outside sales experience preferred
- Experience selling commercial, industrial, equipment, fleet, automotive, construction, agricultural, or business-to-business products is highly desirable
- Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage a sales territory independently
- Professional appearance and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
This is a field-based sales position covering North Georgia.
The majority of your time will be spent meeting with customers, conducting demonstrations, prospecting new business, and developing relationships throughout the territory. Candidates should be comfortable managing their own schedule, working independently, and spending significant time in the field.
