Diesel Mechanic Technician

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our Automotive team in the Transportation & Logistics industry. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers, ensuring safe, reliable fleet operations for our customers. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting engines, brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, and accurately documenting work performed. Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair engines, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and OEM software to identify and resolve issues
• Complete accurate work orders and maintenance records in a timely manner
• Follow Ryder and DOT safety standards, ensuring a clean, compliant workspace
• Collaborate with team members and drivers to prioritize and schedule repairs
• Support continuous improvement by suggesting process and equipment enhancements
