Building Maintenance Technician
Location:Tucker, GA
Pay Range: 30-31/hr What’s the Job?- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general building systems, including basic HVAC tasks such as changing filters and belts.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general building issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inspect buildings and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to maintain a safe working environment.
- Respond to maintenance requests and coordinate with external contractors when specialized repairs are required.
- Maintain tools and supplies inventory and accurately document completed maintenance and repair activities.
- 5–7 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools and the ability to diagnose and perform general repairs independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and safely perform maintenance work in various working conditions.
