Interim Senior Accountant

Vaco has partnered with a construction company that is in search of an Interim Senior Accountant to support the accounting team. This role is critical to ensuring continuity, accuracy, and efficiency across the company during a transition period.

Interim Senior Accountant

Location:

Tucson (hybrid)
Pay Rate: $55 per hour
Project Duration: 3+ months

• Manage day-to-day accounting for a newly acquired construction operation
• Support project accounting, including job costing, revenue recognition and WIP schedules
• Assist with month-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Collaborate with leaders and field teams to ensure accurate project financials

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of GL accounting experience,
  project accounting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite at the Tucson office
