Vaco has partnered with a construction company that is in search of an Interim Senior Accountant to support the accounting team. This role is critical to ensuring continuity, accuracy, and efficiency across the company during a transition period.
Job Title:
Interim Senior Accountant
Location:
Tucson (hybrid)
Pay Rate: $55 per hour
Project Duration: 3+ months
Responsibilities Include:- Manage day‑to‑day accounting for a newly acquired construction operation
- Support project accounting, including job costing, revenue recognition and WIP schedules
- Assist with month‑end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with leaders and field teams to ensure accurate project financials
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of GL accounting experience;
project accounting strongly preferred - Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work onsite at the Tucson office
