Certified Public Accountant

Hours:

Full time, some weekends as needed.

Our firm provides consulting, business planning, income tax preparation and planning, financial statement preparation, sales tax reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll service for a wide variety of clients in multiple states.

• Preparation of Individual and Business Income tax returns – including multiple states
• Quarterly Business and individual tax planning
• Review Financial statements and documents and assess their relevance and adequacy prior preparing tax returns
• Provide Income tax services for businesses, individuals, trusts, estates and gift returns – including communicating with taxing authorities

• Current CPA/EA (Enrolled Agent) license or candidacy
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent
• Solid understanding of accounting principles including GAAP is a must
• 5 years tax preparation experience
• Knowledgeable and efficient with technology (Microsoft Office, Excel, PDF software, Quick Books, and other accounting software, etc.)
• Experience with Ultra Tax is a plus
• Strong problem solving and issue resolution
• Comfortable working in a paperless environment
