Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Responsibilities Process and post incoming customer payments accurately and timely

Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies

Balance and reconcile schedules

Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances

Prepare and send invoices, statements, and payment reminders

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities

Work with sales and finance departments to ensure proper documentation

Handle customer inquiries regarding billing and payments

Follow company procedures, accounting standards, and internal controls

Accounts Receivable Clerk Qualifications Previous accounts receivable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and concepts

Knowledge of accounts receivable to include debits/credits, invoices and statements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Corporate requirements:
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
