We are seeking a Staff Accountant II who has mastered the foundational ledger, values precision, and wants to drive impact across our financial operations.
Unlike a traditional, siloed corporate accounting role, this position offers full-cycle exposure. You will play a vital part in our strategic monthly close while actively supporting key accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. What You’ll Do- Own the Ledger & Close:
Prepare and post monthly journal entries, make account adjustments, and drive the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. - Full-Cycle
Collaboration:
Support critical accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions to maintain seamless operational cash flow. - Deep-Dive Reconciliations:
Perform comprehensive bank, credit-card, and general ledger account reconciliations, ensuring full compliance with GAAP and company policies. - Data & Audit Analysis:
Investigate account discrepancies, prepare financial reports for management review, and assist external auditors by providing clear work papers and documentation. - Process Improvement:
Actively recommend process enhancements to increase speed, efficiency, and accuracy across our accounting systems.
- Professional
Experience:
3+ years of progressive accounting experience. - Education:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. - Core
Skills:
Strong knowledge of GAAP, excellent attention to detail, and top-tier organizational and problem-solving skills. - Technical Proficiency:
High comfort level with personal computers, MS Office (especially advanced Excel), and ERP/accounting systems. - Work Style:
An independent worker who exercises sound judgment, handles multiple deadlines under pressure, and knows exactly when to proactively raise issues to leadership.
