Payroll Specialist

Job Summary

A local employer in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented payroll professional who enjoys accurate processing, employee record maintenance, payroll reporting, and collaboration with HR and accounting teams.

• Process weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Review timesheets, attendance records, payroll adjustments, deductions, benefits, and employee changes for accuracy.
• Enter, update, and maintain employee payroll information in payroll systems.
• Research payroll discrepancies and respond professionally to employee payroll questions.
• Maintain accurate payroll files, records, reports, and documentation for audits and compliance needs.
• Collaborate with HR, accounting, and internal teams to support payroll-related processes.

• Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
