Location: Tucson, AZ
Salary: $70,000.00 per year
Schedule: Full Time (Some weekends needed)

This Accountant role in Tucson is for someone who understands the full picture, not just A/R and A/P. You track the details, close things out, and keep the numbers accurate.

Requirements:

• Current CPA/EA certification
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP, is a must
• 5 years of tax preparation experience
• Knowledgeable and efficient with technology (Microsoft Office, Excel, PDF software, Quick Books, and other accounting software)
• Experience with Ultra Tax is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and issue resolution
• Comfortable working in a paperless environment

Job Duties:

• Preparation of Individual and Business Income tax returns - including multiple states
• Quarterly Business and individual tax planning
• Review Financial statements and documents, and assess their relevance and adequacy before preparing tax returns
• Provide Income tax services for businesses, individuals, trusts, estates, and gift returns - including communicating with taxing authorities
