Administrative Associate (Part-Time) (College of Education)
The College of Education Dean's Office seeks a .49 FTE position for an Administrative Associate.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, and have a professional demeanor.
Also, the incumbent should be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and possess proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Duties & Responsibilities- Serve as a resource and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new staff hires, including provisioning and orientation to college processes and procedures.
- Assist with coordinating college and unit events, including meetings, managing logistics, preparing and sending invitations, room reservations, catering, and monitoring outcomes.
- Support Assistant to the Dean with financial transactions.
- Assist with administrative processes and resolve issues independently using knowledge of departmental policies and procedures.
- Process financial transactions utilizing the appropriate systems.
- Support graduate student offer letters and hiring process.
- Maintain the College listservs for faculty and staff.
- Assist with special projects as assigned, particularly alumni relations, marketing, and recruitment.
- Staff office coverage for the Dean's Office.
- Additional duties as assigned.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team-oriented environment.
- Ability to multitask, with an openness to re-prioritizing to meet the needs of the college and department.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate challenging topics to a variety of individuals.
- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience processing transactions in UAcess Financial.
- Experience assisting with the coordination of events and meetings.
