We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Mail Clerk. The successful candidate will support Mail Services and prepare, process and distribute incoming, outgoing and internal mail, including UPS, Fed Ex, etc. parcels. Delivers and assists with other mailing problems. Other responsibilities include maintaining proper mailing procedures, equipment operations, and providing proper security of postal meters and record maintenance.

This position will prepare, process and distribute incoming, internal, and outgoing mail and UPS, FED-EX, etc., deliveries and assist others with mailing questions. Other responsibilities include maintaining proper mailing procedures, equipment operations, and other mailroom supplies.
Position-Related Responsibilities- Work and cooperate with other employees to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Operate basic office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, calculators, personal computers and other equipment as required in certain positions.
- Answer single or multi-line phones, route calls, and/or take messages.
- Photocopy, collate, and sort documents.
- Index, classify, code, file and retrieve manual records using alphabetical and/or numerical filing systems.
- Update and maintain reporting systems.
- Follow written procedures or oral instructions pertaining to assigned area.
- Retain a valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Perform assigned work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company practices and procedures.
- This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and related Policies and Procedures.

- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must possess and be able to retain a valid up-to-date AZ driver’s license
- Mail room and/or package delivery experience preferred
- Must have verbal communication skills
- Perform basic math calculations
- Perform basic computer skills
- Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Work harmoniously with fellow workers
There will be a three-part testing procedure for this position: a written Technical Skills test, a lifting assessment, and a behavioral-based core competency interview. Each step must be passed to progress to the next step. A study outline is provided to prepare for the test, lifting assessment and interview.
