Program Specialist (Training Coordinator)

Duties include but not limited to:

• Work as a member of the Health Administration Service (HAS) to develop and administer training programs for the staff of HAS as well as administrative employees throughout the facility, outpatient clinics and CBOCs.
• Works independently to develop, review, analyze, implement, secure subject matter experts (SME) s, and evaluate training courses and programs related to HAS areas such as Eligibility/Enrollment, Access to Care, Beneficiary Travel, Scheduling, Ward Administration, Admissions, Special Programs, etc.
• Participates on facility and/or VISN-wide committees representing HAS operations and provides information and assistance to the Education Committee as a representative of HAS.
• Serves as the Tuition Support Coordinator for HAS.
• Monitors quality program implementation and indicators designed to verify adherence to requirements, prevent errors, and eliminate ineffective work practices.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
