Definition:
Under the direction of the high school Athletic Director.
- Organize, maintain, and oversee all elements of the school's equipment for all 22 of our athletic programs and all 48 of our teams.
- Communicate with families regarding missing equipment borrowed from the school.
- Ensure accountability of coaches and athletes regarding school rented equipment.
- Communicate with the athletic director regarding needs of the programs.
- Keep an organized database of all uniforms, including when teams are up for new uniforms.
- Clean uniforms, ensuring to meet the sanitary standards of the district.
- Perform yearly safety inspections, along with being the liaison between our vendors and athletic department.
- Assist outside vendors with the independent safety inspections.
- Collect bids for equipment repair.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Attend athletic events, being available for equipment malfunctions.
- Create and maintain a digital inventory.
- Assist in the supervision of athletic events, especially at lower levels.
- Train and oversee game workers.
- Set up for games, including all equipment, bleachers, and sound systems.
- Upload scores, ejections, and verify referee attendance for the AIA following games.
- Assist in ensuring bus schedules are correct and all events are accounted for.
- Assist in facilities oversight, looking for needs around the gym and field, and communicate these needs.
- Perform game worker duties as necessary.
- Assist in oversight of the facilities calendar.
- Greet and be the on-site liaison for referees.
- Gradebook initial audit (weekly reports) and report to AD.
- Daily Attendance.
- High level of knowledge in athletics, including the policies and bylaws of the Arizona Interscholastic Association.
- History of high communication/professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in event oversight.
- High level of organizational skills.
- Database experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Substitute Certificate or the ability to obtain a certificate.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain an Arizona Level 1 – IVP fingerprint clearance card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
- First Aid/CPR certification is required.
- Evening hours are required.
