Principal Contract Specialist, Contracts; Onsite

Position Summary

Raytheon (RTX) seeks a Contracts Manager to lead a complex portfolio of Standard Missile contracts. The role involves providing contractual guidance, developing proposals, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance with company and federal regulations.

• Provide contractual guidance to cross‑functional partners and meet customer obligations.
• Represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and maintain business relationships with customers.
• Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP), develop and negotiate proposals, contractual agreements, and perform general contract administration.
• Effectively manage contractual scope, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues that arise during project execution.

• University degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
• Experience in contract management or related fields (program management, business management, subcontracts, supply‑chain supporting U.S. Government contracts).
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
• Experience structuring, negotiating, and executing performance‑based payments; understanding of financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification.
• Familiarity with Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements.
• Active, transferable DoD Security Clearance preferred; U.S. citizenship required.

• Competitive salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD (based on experience).
