Position
The International Product Manager acts as the ultimate owner of a specific product area, holding accountability for delivering measurable business outcomes beyond feature outputs. The role leads continuous product discovery and validation, provides strategic context, aligns engineering efforts with business goals, and serves as the subject matter expert on the product domain.
Main Tasks- Hold overall accountability for product outcomes, delivering measurable business results.
- Lead continuous discovery and validation to ensure solutions are valuable to customers, viable for the business, usable by users, and technically feasible.
- Provide strategic context and ensure stable core teams focus on high‑value work.
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration, balancing customer, business, and technical needs.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of customers, product data, and market dynamics.
- Own customer value and viability risk, ensuring the product solves customer problems.
- Continuously learn from customers and data to inform product decisions.
- Apply deep business knowledge, including finance, sales, and legal aspects, to product decisions.
- Maintain an owner''s mindset and act as the critical element for team success.
- Advocate for users and customers, keeping their needs central to development.
- Ensure all development work is results‑driven and aligned with outcome goals.
- Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Science, or related field;
Master''s preferred. - Scientific or marketing background with strong business acumen and 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or diagnostics industry, sales and/or marketing.
- Deep understanding of the diagnostics industry, product management, and commercial operations.
- Demonstrated enterprise mindset, commercial capabilities, and value‑creation focus.
- Ability to inspire, develop, and empower colleagues, delivering impact and results.
- Proven track record leading strategic initiatives, managing change, and navigating ambiguity.
- Exceptional interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
- Customer‑focused, business‑driven, innovative, and able to think and act across borders.
- Commitment to learning, fostering partnerships, and embracing Agile ways of working.
Estimated salary range: $117,000 to $217,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors. A discretionary annual bonus may be available.
