This position is located in Tucson, AZ and requires an active DoD Secret clearance on day‑1. The role is a full‑time, on‑site leadership position.
Responsibilities- Serve as the interface between Supply Chain, Program Office, Integrated Product Team (IPT), and other cross‑functional teams for development and production contracts.
- Lead earned‑value management (EVM) activities, including quarterly EACs and material sales forecasting.
- Ensure supplier material management, forecasting, and adherence to cost and schedule requirements.
- Develop and monitor program and supply‑chain metrics to maintain program health and goal alignment.
- Drive execution of supply‑chain strategies, including supplier assessments and proposal activities, and manage risks/opportunities.
- Use critical thinking to propose innovative solutions that increase operational efficiency and support program success.
- Manage production alignment with MRP to support operational execution.
- Oversee GSC proposal performance reporting and ensure timely material deliveries.
- Identify and mitigate risks, maintain financial health (EACs, AOP, R&O), and support future proposal activities.
- Typically a university degree or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 7 years of experience.
- Experience in supplier management, project management, or program management.
- Experience using manufacturing or enterprise planning tools such as MRP systems (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP, PRISM).
- Management or supervisory experience.
- Ability to work on programs that require special access to restricted facilities or systems.
- Experience applying earned‑value management principles or integrating project cost, schedule, risk, and progress.
- Prior experience in the defense industry, particularly in supply‑chain functions.
- Experience driving proposal performance.
Competitive salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD.
