Senior Analyst, Contracts – Naval Air Missiles Portfolio
Job OverviewJoin RTX as a Senior Analyst in the Naval Air Missiles portfolio within the Naval Power Strategic Business Unit. The role supports contract lifecycle activities, including proposal preparation, submission, administration, and close‑out of current production and development programs in partnership with Department of Defense customers and cross‑functional program teams.
Responsibilities- Become highly proficient in contract management and administration actions on proposals and contracts across the acquisition life cycle.
- Investigate and resolve contractual matters by critically thinking, gathering detailed information, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
- Work independently while identifying matters that require leadership review and buy‑in.
- Influence others through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
- Multi‑task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick‑response requirements.
- Interface with customers regarding correspondence, contractual changes, and contractual issues.
- Draft complex letters that communicate Raytheon’s business position effectively.
- Advise management of contractual rights, obligations, and potential mitigation of risks.
- Collaborate closely with program teams within a matrix environment of program management, engineering, finance, operations, supply chain, and quality functional leads.

- University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 2 years of relevant experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience in contracts administration, subcontracts, procurement, acquisitions, and/or finance.
- Familiarity with U.S. Government Department of Defense contract types such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF).
- Professional presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to partner and influence others effectively.
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks while delivering high‑quality products.
- Sound judgment, strategic mindset, and proactiveness in addressing issues to resolution.
- Ability to partner effectively with cross‑functional internal and external stakeholders, including customers and leadership teams.
