Position Summary
Contract Administrator I responsible for managing the full lifecycle of government and commercial contracts in compliance with federal regulations and company policies. Under general supervision, the role ensures contractual obligations are met, risks are mitigated, and business objectives are achieved. The candidate must possess strong coordination, organization, and prioritization skills.
Responsibilities Contract Management- Administer contracts from proposal through closeout, including modifications, renewals, and terminations.
- Review customer contract terms and conditions, FAR, DFARs, ITAR, and export control requirements for compliance; elevate terms requiring corporate and legal review as needed.
- Monitor contract performance, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely execution.
- Support proposal development, including review of solicitation requirements (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
- Assist in pricing strategy and contract risk assessment.
- Identify terms that may pose financial, legal, or operational risks.
- Maintain accurate proposal records, documentation, and correspondence.
- Act as primary point of contact for contractual matters with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Manage product returns, repairs, and warranty claims.
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable terms and regulations (Statement of Work, PO specific requirements, customer Ts and Cs, FAR, DFARS, ITAR, EAR, etc.).
- Evaluate risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure proper flow‑down of contract requirements to subcontractors through provision of Contract Brief.
- Track contract funding, billing, and invoicing requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and relevant work experience.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Effective management of multiple fluctuating priorities and varying deadlines.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Thrives in a high‑pressure environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Business preferred) or Associate’s Degree with 2 years of experience in sales or customer service.
- Previous Contract Administration/Customer Service Experience.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CUI, and ITAR.
- Ideal candidate functions with a sense of urgency, managing tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities.
