Associate Strategy Director

At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today's mission and stay ahead of tomorrow's threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.

Raytheon is seeking an Associate Strategy Director to join its enterprise strategy team and serve as a key adviser to senior leadership. In this highly visible role, you will drive global, enterprise‑level strategic insight across Raytheon's portfolio, guiding long‑range priorities that shape the company's international position and future growth trajectory.

You will lead rigorous qualitative and quantitative assessments to inform long‑range planning, growth and innovation initiatives, portfolio optimization, and inorganic strategy including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures. Partnering closely with leadership across business units, finance, engineering, and operations, you will define ambiguous challenges, build structured strategic hypotheses, and deliver clear, executive‑ready recommendations that influence the company's highest‑impact decisions.

Success in this role requires exceptional strategic judgment, analytical depth, and executive communication capabilities, along with a strong understanding of the global aerospace and defense landscape, customer budget cycles, and competitive dynamics. The ideal candidate operates autonomously, manages multiple concurrent work streams, and plays a pivotal role in ensuring Raytheon maintains and expands its competitive advantage globally.

This hybrid role is based near the following locations:
Woburn, MA;
Arlington VA;
Farmington, CT;
McKinney, TX; or Tucson, AZ. Some travel may be required.
