What You Will Do- Provide contractual guidance to cross‑functional partners to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies.
- Represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships.
- Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development and negotiation of proposals, contractual agreements, and general contract administration.
- Effectively manage contractual scope and terms and conditions to ensure the contract is followed compliantly.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise.
- Take an active role in managing contracts and engaging directly with program leadership.
- Learn to produce contracts focused on meeting domestic, FMS and DCS requirements.
- Gain exposure to business management reviews with leadership support such as quarterly EAC Reviews.
- Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Experience in contract management or closely related fields such as program management, business management, subcontracts or supply chain supporting U.S. Government contracts.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date with the ability to obtain program access after start date.
- Active Top Secret clearance.
- Experience in contract negotiations, execution and administration of various contract aspects (price, Statements of Work, terms, etc.) and agreements such as Proprietary Information Agreements.
- Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements.
- Experience structuring, negotiating, and executing performance‑based payments.
- Understanding of financial aspects of contracts and risk quantification.
- Experience with Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements.
