Position Summary
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for the planning, sourcing, administration, and compliance of construction and service contracts throughout the project lifecycle. This role supports project teams from pre-construction planning through contract close-out, ensuring adherence to contractual, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while coordinating closely with owners, contractors, consultants, engineering, construction, and project management teams.

The Contracts Administrator works closely with Construction Management, Engineering, Scheduling, Cost Control, Expediting, Purchasing, Owners, Contractors, and Consultants to ensure successful contract execution and project delivery. General project execution and project management best practices are an essential tool for this position.
Basic Qualifications- A minimum of 5 years related contract administration, preferably in the construction industry. Heavy industrial construction (mining, refining, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, power generation) is a plus.
- Adhere to all safety rules and project safety requirements.
- A general understanding of the critical elements of construction contracts, including contract types, and general contract provisions.
- Knowledge of contract compliance issues and procedures.
- Negotiation skills.
- Must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects. Some larger projects might require extended site assignments.
- Must be able to work individually and in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
- Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
