We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee ground-up and tenant improvement commercial construction projects throughout the Tucson area. This position is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and organized leader with experience managing multiple commercial projects in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
- Oversee procurement, subcontract administration, and material tracking
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project documentation
- Collaborate closely with Superintendents to support field operations and maintain project schedules
- Conduct owner meetings and provide regular project updates and reporting
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and project specifications
- Identify project risks and proactively implement solutions
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
- Support successful project closeout, punch list completion, and warranty coordination
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
- Ground-up commercial construction experience required
- Tenant improvement and renovation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and contract management
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or Primavera preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
