Construction Grade Checker

Location:

PHOENIX METRO AREA

• Set grade stakes to guide earth moving equipment operators in cut & fill, sloping, excavation, and back filling work at residential, commercial, heavy civil, highway, and energy sites.
• Observe, direct, and control equipment excavating activities to conform to stake references.
• Communicate with equipment operators, supervision, and management.
• Support projects throughout Arizona and may require out-of-state travel.

• 1+ years experience performing grade checking.
• Experience with heavy equipment and use of measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Knowledge of marking and reading survey stakes to determine grade specifications.
• Ability to observe, direct, and control equipment excavating activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with Trimble GPS Rover System is a plus.
