Traveling Senior Superintendent - Data Center Construction

We are partnered with a nationally active General Contractor delivering large scale data center projects across multiple U.S. markets. This role is for a Traveling Senior Superintendent to lead full scope field execution on mission critical data center projects from early site work through commissioning and final turnover.

This position has overall responsibility for site leadership, schedule execution, safety, quality, subcontractor coordination, and integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.

• Lead all on site construction activities from mobilization through commissioning and closeout
• Maintain full responsibility for field execution across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP scopes
• Direct and coordinate Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and field staff
• Manage subcontractor performance, sequencing, manpower, and daily productivity
• Drive schedule adherence using short interval planning and milestone tracking
• Oversee complex MEP coordination including electrical distribution, mechanical cooling, fire protection, and controls
• Enforce strict safety standards and site-specific protocols for mission critical environments
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and authority having jurisdiction approvals
• Partner with Project Managers, owners, designers, and commissioning teams
• Identify constructability issues early and drive resolution to protect schedule and quality
• Lead phased turnover and commissioning readiness activities
• Maintain accurate daily reporting, field documentation, and progress updates

• 10+ years of Superintendent experience on large scale commercial or industrial projects
• Prior data center or mission critical experience strongly preferred
• Proven experience leading full scope construction teams on complex projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing for MEP intensive facilities
• Experience managing fast track schedules and overlapping phases
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and coordination documents
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide on rotation-based assignments
