Skilled Laborer - Yuma, AZ

• Base Pay $18.00 - $20.00 / Hour

Skilled Construction Laborers provide support to Skilled Craft workers and the successful completion of construction and engineering work. They work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervisor. Ability to follow guidance and instructions from senior personnel, supervisors, or foremen to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Learn to safely and effectively use or operate work related tools and equipment.
• Look for opportunities for improvement in all work tasks, means and methods regarding the work and be willing to learn from others.
• Produce high quality work, safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure all materials, tools, equipment and information is available for the work.
• If unsure about any aspect of the work or issues regarding safe practices ask a supervisor before continuing.
• Eliminate WASTE such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• Effective Math skills - add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all members of the crew.

• At least 1 year experience of general construction.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a federal background check.
• Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be willing to travel to various project sites as needed.
• This position is located in Yuma, AZ.
• Ability to travel to different job sites as needed.
