Part Time Traffic Reporter

Arizona Lotus Corp. is looking for a part-time Traffic Reporter for our stations KCMT, KTKT, KMXZ, KLPX, KFMA, KLPX-HD3 and KFFN. The Traffic Reporter provides timely, accurate, and engaging live traffic updates for listeners on local radio in both Spanish and English. This role involves monitoring traffic conditions, gathering information from multiple sources, and delivering clear, concise reports to help drivers navigate safely and efficiently.

• Monitor traffic data, cameras, and reports from official sources and the public.
• Deliver live and recorded traffic updates throughout scheduled radio segments in both Spanish and English.
• Collaborate with program managers to maintain smooth broadcast flow.
• Report on accidents, road closures, construction, and major delays every Monday through Friday afternoon.
• Use a professional yet conversational tone suited to the station’s audience.

• Excellent verbal communication and broadcast voice.
• Must be proficient in English and Spanish.
• Strong knowledge of the streets of Tucson.
• Experience in radio broadcasting or journalism preferred.
• Ability to multitask under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with traffic and broadcasting software is a plus.
• Availability to work weekday afternoons 2:45 to 6pm.
• One year experience is preferred but not necessary, we will train.
