Position Summary

U-Haul is seeking a friendly, motivated Storage Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service by inspecting and maintaining equipment, dispatching and returning storage units, and assisting customers with technology and contracts.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the site manager with facility operations.
  • Answer phone inquiries from active and prospective customers.
  • Show storage units, explain rental terms, and prepare rental contracts.
  • Perform routine property cleanup and minor repair work.
  • Ensure all vacant units are clean, dry, secure, and ready for new customers.
  • Assist customers using technology to dispatch and return equipment.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts that require special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. Protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.

Physical Demands

Requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing or remaining stationary indoors or outdoors, traversing spaces, repositioning to use tools, and moving a minimum of 50lbs, either assisted or unassisted.
