Job Duties
- Seating patients, asking patients medical history, and taking blood pressure to get them ready for the doctor
- Organizing and preparing exam rooms, lab, and work areas, including cleaning, stocking supplies
- Clean and sterilize instruments utilizing autoclave, assemble instruments, supplies, and equipment for specific procedures
- Take impressions of patient’s teeth, pouring and trimming stone models
- Performing laboratory duties such as blocking models, pressing, cutting, and trimming oral appliances
- Delivering, building, and adjusting patient’s oral appliances
- Provide patients information on how to use and care for their oral appliances
- Taking Cone Beam CT scans, constructing and sending images to doctors for reading and reporting
- Obtain consent forms for injections. Help prepare injections per doctor’s request
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the lab and cleaning all clinical rooms
