Through a variety of projects—from design charrettes, client meetings, internal project reviews and building details—you’ll learn the nuts and bolts of putting a building together, working with teams and contributing to a larger purpose.
You will be exposed to our integrated design process and engaged in a seasonal position that provides exposure to all elements of the building design process with an emphasis in interior design and lighting design. You will help produce designs for commercial, educational and municipal buildings of all sizes and complexities.
Position Responsibilities- Participate with other design team members in an integrated design process for various projects.
- Learn to use primary design tools such as REVIT/AutoCAD and proprietary DLR Group design tools and methods.
- Assist with the preparation of presentation materials using Sketch‑up and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assist with project pursuits and business development opportunities.
- Actively participate in project and site meetings as appropriate.
- Currently enrolled in high school, with senior standing.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for a work visa or residency sponsorship.
- Experience with Adobe Suite, Sketch‑Up or other design software.
- Excellent visual, verbal and non‑verbal communication skills.
