Required Skills:

• Valid medical license and board certification in Anesthesiology with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• Proven experience in pediatric anesthesia, demonstrating comprehensive patient management skills.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and adapt to emergent circumstances.

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Experience with innovative anesthesia techniques and pediatric pain management.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations.

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pediatric anesthesia setting.

Other Requirements:

• Must possess or be eligible for state medical licensure.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
• Ability to travel if required for certain assignments.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and relevant pediatric life support programs.
• Compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
