Required Skills:
- Valid medical license and board certification in Anesthesiology with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
- Proven experience in pediatric anesthesia, demonstrating comprehensive patient management skills.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations and adapt to emergent circumstances.
Skills:
- Experience with innovative anesthesia techniques and pediatric pain management.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Education and Experience:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pediatric anesthesia setting.
- Must possess or be eligible for state medical licensure.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
- Ability to travel if required for certain assignments.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and relevant pediatric life support programs.
- Compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
