Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

• Regular daytime hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to noon
• Perform 5-10 gastroenterology procedures in hospital setting daily
• No clinic time required
• Call coverage follows onsite hospital time
• See 10-20 patients per shift
• Must have active Arizona medical license and DEA registration
• Board certification required with minimum board certification eligible
• Fellowship training required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration required
• ERCP diagnostic and therapeutic procedures required
• PEG tube placement capabilities required
• Lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required
• Small bowel biopsy experience required
• Injection of varices experience required
