SUMMARY
Effectively manage the learning environment to prepare lesson plans, instruct students, evaluate and monitor
students' performance in order to advance student achievement. Understand and appreciate diversity.
Work collaboratively with a team to plan instruction. Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Arizona Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Cross-Categorical Special Education, Special Education , Special Education LD OR Special Education ED Certificate
OR
Arizona Standard Professional Teaching Certificate with a Provisional or Full Mild/Moderate Disabilities PreK-12 endorsement
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

Sahuaro High School
- Broadway & Camino Seco Area
FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Internal candidates will transfer at a rate commensurate with their bargaining unit language. For more information on the salary schedule, please reference the Employee Agreements Webpage.
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
