Starting Salary $48,000 (prorated for the remainder of the contracted school year)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate K-5 Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive, student-centered environment. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations

* Provide specialized instruction to students in grades K-5 in small-group and/or inclusion settings

* Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success

* Monitor and document student progress toward academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals

* Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with IDEA and district policies

* Foster a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field

* Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certification

* Experience working with elementary-aged students

* Strong classroom management and differentiation skills

* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

* Commitment to inclusive practices and equity in education
