Summary

Contributes to the acceleration of our striving readers. Works extensively with students to help improve specific reading skills. Consults with classroom teachers to design and plan interventions. Conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services. Diagnoses reading strengths and weaknesses and matches these skills with appropriate techniques and materials to promote interest in reading.

Minimum Requirements

Arizona Elementary K-8 Certificate
Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preferred Requirements

Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

Additional Requirements After Hire

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
