AboutEstablished in 1993, TWS is an independent Waldorf school serving families from Early Childhood through Grade 8. Our comprehensive programs include parent-child classes, nursery, kindergarten, and grades one through eight. As Arizona’s only full member of both AWSNA (Association of Waldorf Schools of North America) and WECAN (Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America), we take pride in providing an education that nurtures the whole child.
Nestled on a picturesque 10-acre campus at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains, our school offers an inspiring environment infused with the natural beauty and unique wildlife of the Sonoran Desert. Our faculty and staff are deeply committed to fostering a culture of continuous growth, collaboration, and professional development guided by the principles of Anthroposophy and Rudolf Steiner’s insights into child development.
We also prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusivity in all aspects of our community.
