SUMMARY

An RTI teacher contributes to the academic success of targeted students, works extensively to help improve skills, conducts assessments to identify students eligible for intervention services, diagnoses and progresses the monitoring of strengths and weaknesses, matches skills with evidence-based instructional strategies, teaches small groups of striving students, models evidence-based instructional strategies, collaborates frequently with classroom teachers, and serves as an integral part of a problem‑solving team at the building level.

• Arizona Elementary Certificate K‑8
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students
• Bilingual (Spanish) endorsement

EFFECTIVE: 2026‑2027 SCHOOL YEAR

LOCATION: Multiple Locations – District‑Wide TUSD Regions Map

FTE: Varies. Typical Teacher FTE 1.0, 7.5 hours per day.

WORK CALENDAR: 9.5 months – 207 days (207 days for new to district teachers)

• Vesey Elementary School – Irvington & Camino De Oeste Area – 1.0 FTE – 7.5 hours per day

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
