The Center for Semiconductor Manufacturing at the University of Arizona seeks an Academic Programs Officer IV to develop a comprehensive curriculum that spans high schools, community colleges, and graduate programs, bridging the gap in chip manufacturing education. This temporary position ends September 30, 2026
.

• Design and develop an integrated curriculum for external learners focusing on chip manufacturing, incorporating the latest advancements and technologies in the field.
• Collaborate with faculty from high schools, community colleges, undergraduate, and graduate programs to ensure the curriculum meets the educational and professional needs of students at each level.
• Implement effective pedagogical strategies for various learning environments and student backgrounds, with particular attention to distance learning and the use of virtual reality platforms.
• Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of the curriculum, making adjustments based on feedback and emerging industry trends.

• Knowledge of the latest educational technologies and methodologies for effective teaching and learning.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Engineering or a closely related field.
