Lecturer, Game Design and Development (Career-Track)
The University of Arizona College of Information Science focuses on the intersection of people, data, and technology, offering innovative programs in information science, data science, cybersecurity, game design, and immersive technologies.
The Lecturer for Game Design and Development will provide instruction in areas of game design and development. The role can be classroom-based, virtual, or a hybrid, depending on need.
Duties & Responsibilities- Instruct students in the field of expertise.
- Plan course delivery, align content with other courses as needed, and provide feedback on student work.
- Advise students, hold office hours, and provide student support.
- Assist with Capstone projects or individual student projects as needed, engaging in project-based pedagogy when possible.
- Terminal degree in Information Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Library Science, Media Ecology, Game Media, Gaming Behavior, Game Design and Production, Game Development, or another related field.
