• Arizona Elementary Certificate K-8, Provisional or Permanent Gifted Endorsement or willingness to pursue during the  school year.
• Current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students.
• Permanent Gifted Endorsement.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

• Work Calendar: 9.5 months
• Teacher will provide instruction for a 5th grade GATE classroom.
• Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
• Probationary Contracts will be issued for contingent certifications, positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
