• High School Diploma.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid.
• Capable of overseeing students in groups.
• Effective communicator with the ability to relate to and build positive rapport with students, staff and teachers and work cooperatively.
• Ability to pass background and reference checking as stipulated by District standards.

• Support Southgate Academy Vision, Mission and Goals.
• Supervises students in the cafeteria.
• Sets up cafeteria, prepares serving trays to serve plates, wipes tables, and cleans up spills on tables and floors.
• Supervises students in the lunch line.
• Assists students during lunch and helps direct students to playground after lunch period.
• Picks up trash from tables and off floor.
• Wipes tables and seats between lunch periods.
• Sweeps under tables as needed.
• Cleans, folds up, and pushes tables to one side of the room to prepare cafeteria floor for cleaning.
• Assists with emptying trash cans and replacing trash can liners.
• Due to the potential for access to confidential student or staff information, it is absolutely mandatory that this position safeguard and maintain the confidentiality of the information stored and discussed in the school.
