On-Call Instructor (Part-Time) (Physician Assistant Program)

The Physician Assistant Program of the School of Health Professions is seeking a basic science instructor to participate as an on‑call instructor. The successful individual will teach physiology content in the Foundations in Medicine course series and support the course co‑director and other assigned faculty. The position is PRN with variable hours and days.

• Deliver physiology lectures synchronously or asynchronously for Foundations in Medicine course series.
• Contribute to current course materials and build course materials for future courses in the series.
• Collaborate with the co‑director of Foundations in Medicine and other assigned faculty to assure continuity of course delivery.
• Mentor PA faculty members assigned to teaching physiology content.
• Advise and mentor students in course content, as needed.

• Instructional delivery and curriculum development skills.
• Ability to provide student advisement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Master's degree in a related field; or
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional experience directly related to the position.
