Adjunct Instructor, Advanced Cyber Operations and AI Cyber
The University of Arizona is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach courses in Advanced Cyber Operations and AI Cyber for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, contingent upon funding. The role may be delivered classroom‑based, virtual, or hybrid.
- Instruct students in the assigned field of expertise.
- Plan course delivery, align content with other courses, and provide feedback on student work.
- Advise students, hold office hours, and provide student support.
- Assist with capstone or individual student projects as needed, engaging in project‑based pedagogy when possible.
- Undergraduate Instruction: Master’s degree in a related field.
- Graduate Instruction: Ph.D. in a related field and a minimum of 3 years working as a professional expert in the field.
- Terminal degree in Information Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Library Science, Media Ecology, Game Media, Gaming Behavior, Game Design and Production, Game Development, or other related field.
- Content expertise that aligns with enrollment needs.

Pay & Working HoursHourly rate: $46.88–$56.25 for remote assignments; annual rate: $75,000–$90,000 for on‑campus. Part‑time: 16–30 hours per week (0.40–0.75 FTE). Exempt FLSA classification.
